During the last eruption of the volcano, the lava descended through the slope of the Güímar Valley slowly towards the sea. Many of them were trapped on the way, turning into rock, forming today the much loved and precious landscape, currently a special natural reserve, called Malpais. The sun caresses them every day giving it new energy. Suddenly one of them takes life, with force, and with all its power it transforms itself into human matter and manages to realize a dream that it harbors in its lava soul for centuries, to reach the sea.
